Community Rules

1. Relevant & In English

All posts and comments must be written in English and must relate to expat life in Ho Chi Minh City (e.g., discussions, questions, experiences, recommendations). Off-topic or non-English content will be removed.

2. Advertising Policy

Ads are not allowed unless approved by admins. Only a very small number of ads will be approved. For advertising inquiries, please contact admin via Facebook page @expatsinsaigon or Zalo 0932891905.

Note: Our specialized groups for topics like advertising, jobs, and real estate have their own specific rules. Please refer to the guidelines within each group for details. You can find them on our Community Network page.

3. Content & Post Approval

The following posts are not allowed and may be removed:

• External links in the post body (put them in comments instead).
• Reshares of outside content (create original posts).
• Selling or advertising pets.
• Sensitive/personal data (e.g., credit card numbers).
• Posts from accounts with no profile picture, new accounts under 3 months, or users reported 3+ times.

4. Respect & Report

Healthy debates are welcome, but kindness is required. If you see a rule-breaking post, please report it to admins instead of attacking the author.
